I have been working in the field of Education for over sixteen years. Fourteen years of that as an Elementary school teacher and prior to that I was an Instructional Assistant supporting the English Language Learners. I was born and raised in West Bloomfield, Michigan. I moved to Portland, Oregon in 1996 after graduating from Western Michigan University. I received my Masters of Education at Portland State University.
I am a mother of five, four boys and one girl, ranging in age from Twelve to Twenty-Four. We have two English Creme Golden Retrievers; named Murphy and Viader.
